So, what with my vacation being in full swing now, I'm not spending as much time online. Now that the weather doesn't completely suck, I make a point of occasionally going outside. But I've recently become enravelled* in another online game.

Billy vs SNAKEMAN
It's a somewhat different take on text-based MMO's. Basically, here's what it's about: You're a ninja. Do ninja shit. Make ninja friends. Kill ninja enemies. Play ninja games. Be awesome. Ninja awesome.
I don't know about you guys, but I like a game that gives you fun stuff to do. BvS has it in spades. Aside from the 'main story', you can meet and get to know a lot of allies, become a soul reaper ala Bleach, play casino games, get in a war with other villages, fight giant monsters, work at a ninja fast-food joint, battle people in crappy cardboard robo-suits... hmm, I must be missing something.
As if that wasn't enough, the creator is in the process of adding another minigame to the clusterfuck that is BvS: ninja zombies. Yes. I've gotten to play the beta version; it's kind of like UD, except the zombies are computer controlled, so it's all players vs. zombies. And weirdo mutant zombies. It's kind of cool; the mechanics encourage a lot of teamwork to win.
So yeah, if you have a desperate need to waste an extra 20 minutes a day, this has my recommendation. And I'm not just saying that for the referral stuff.
But incidentally, if you sign up with my link up there or enter my character's name (Lokey) when you join, you can get a free 100 stamina to play with, and if you keep playing until at least Chunin rank, I get free shit.
EDIT: Okay, in case anyone gets as confused as I was, here's a quick run-down of the stat system:
You have 3 ninja abilities, each with a level. That level represents a die roll you get when you take on a mission, fight, etc. If you have a positive Strength score for that ability, then it adds that number to your base die roll each time. Your range (starts 1-10) is the number of sides on your virtual die for that stat. Suc is the number of instant successes you get with that stat.
When you do a mission, it'll have a difficulty and successes list. The difficulty is how high you have to roll on a single roll to get a success. Successes is how many you need to win. If you roll enough successes to meet that number, you complete the mission and get your experience, ability points, money and item drops. If you don't get enough successes, you lose and get a humorous failure message, along with a couple xp and ap.
